My Early Autumn Travel Packing List! A Hong Kong Girl’s Yves Rocher Skincare & Body Care Essentials

Every September, I find myself thinking that it’s the perfect time to travel. The weather in Hong Kong can still be a little warm and humid, but compared with July and August, I can definitely feel the weather becoming more comfortable.

Whenever I have a few days off around this time, I love planning a short trip. Sometimes I might head to Tokyo or Seoul, while other times I simply book a hotel for two or three nights and give myself a chance to relax somewhere different. And before every trip, one of my favorite things to do is pack my suitcase.

I used to think that I had to bring a lot of skincare products whenever I traveled. But after a while, I realized that I actually used very few of them every day. Now, I prefer to keep things simple and only bring the products I genuinely enjoy and know I will use during my trip.

While packing for my early autumn getaway this time, I once again made room for Yves Rocher in my toiletry bag. And this time, I picked four different products.

01|Yves Rocher Anti-Age Global Rejuvenating Serum

The first product I was particularly excited to bring with me was the”Yves Rocher Anti-Age Global Rejuvenating Serum”. When I’m traveling, I can easily forget about my usual skincare routine. After spending the day sightseeing, taking photos and trying different restaurants, I’m usually already exhausted by the time I get back to the hotel.

That’s why I’ve started choosing products that I genuinely enjoy using and can easily stick to. What I like about this Yves Rocher serum is that it doesn’t make my travel skincare routine feel complicated. I usually apply it after cleansing my face at night, especially after spending a full day outdoors.

For me, having a simple skincare routine is especially important when I’m traveling. I don’t want to bring too many products or spend too much time taking care of my skin. I just want something that fits naturally into my evening routine and gives me a few quiet minutes to slow down after a busy day.

Traveling doesn’t mean I have to completely give up my usual self-care routine. In fact, taking a little time to do my skincare in my hotel room has become one of my favorite rituals when I’m away from home. It gives me a chance to relax, reset and enjoy a peaceful moment before ending the day.

02|Yves Rocher Riche Rose Oleo-Infusion

The second product I think is especially suited to an early autumn trip is the Yves Rocher Riche Rose Oleo-Infusion.I personally love bringing a nourishing oil with me when I travel.

As the seasons start to change, I tend to pay more attention to how my skin feels. When I’m traveling, I also spend a lot of time in air-conditioned spaces, so by the time I get back to the hotel, I often feel like giving my skin a little extra nourishment.

There is another very personal reason why I enjoy this product: it makes my skincare routine feel more indulgent.I don’t think of a nourishing oil as another complicated step that I have to add to my routine. Instead, I like using it when I have a little extra time in the evening.

After taking a shower and changing into my pajamas, I’ll slowly go through my skincare routine. For me, it’s such a relaxing way to end a long day of traveling. The Yves Rocher Riche Rose Oleo-Infusion also fits perfectly with what I imagine an early autumn trip should feel like: simple, relaxing and just a little bit indulgent.

03|Yves Rocher Repair Shower Oil

The third product I really wanted to bring with me was the Yves Rocher Repair Shower Oil.When I’m going on a short trip, I usually don’t bring too many body care products, but I always like to bring something for my shower.

The reason is simple: for me, taking a shower after getting back to the hotel is one of the most relaxing moments of the entire day. After spending hours walking around and exploring, I usually just want to slow down and completely relax. Having a shower product that I genuinely enjoy makes that whole experience feel even better.

I chose the Yves Rocher Repair Shower Oil because during early autumn, I personally prefer a little more nourishment in my body care routine compared with the middle of summer. I don’t just want something that cleanses — I also want that comfortable, cared-for feeling afterward.

For me, it’s not necessarily an essential travel item. It’s more like one of those little things that makes a trip feel more comfortable and enjoyable.

04|Yves Rocher Oat & Buckwheat Moisturizing Hand Cream

The last product is something I’ve almost developed a habit of carrying with me everywhere — the Yves Rocher Oat & Buckwheat Moisturizing Hand Cream.I rarely used to bring hand cream when I traveled. But over time, I realized that I was becoming more and more dependent on having one with me.

When I travel from Hong Kong, I’m constantly handling my luggage, using public transportation, visiting restaurants and checking into hotels. Add the air conditioning on flights and in hotel rooms, and my hands can easily start feeling dry.

So now I always keep a 30 ml hand cream in my personal bag. What I like about this Yves Rocher hand cream is how easy it feels to incorporate into my routine. Whenever I need it, I can simply take it out and apply some without making my travel routine feel complicated.

I especially like using it on the plane or after getting back to my hotel in the evening. For me, applying hand cream has become more than just another skincare step. It’s a tiny moment during the trip when I can pause for a few seconds and take care of myself.

My Early Autumn Suitcase Really Doesn’t Need to Be Overpacked

After finishing my packing this time, I’ve realized that I really prefer traveling with fewer but more carefully chosen products.I’ll keep the Yves Rocher Anti-Age Global Rejuvenating Serum in my toiletry bag for my simple evening skincare routine. The Yves Rocher Riche Rose Oleo-Infusion is for those nights when I want to slow down and enjoy my skincare a little more.

The Yves Rocher Repair Shower Oil will go with my shower essentials, while the Yves Rocher Oat & Buckwheat Moisturizing Hand Cream will stay in my personal bag so I can reach for it whenever I need it.I feel like these four products cover the things I care about most when I’m traveling: facial skincare, body care and those little moments of self-care that I can enjoy anytime.

For me, traveling has never been just about visiting a new place, taking photos, eating good food and shopping. What I enjoy more is having a little time that belongs entirely to me. I like taking my time getting ready in the morning, exploring new streets during the day, then returning to my hotel at night for a shower and some skincare before lying in bed and thinking about everything I did that day.

That’s also why I chose Yves Rocher again this time.I don’t need to bring my entire bathroom with me. I just need a few products that I genuinely enjoy and that fit naturally into my travel routine. For me, Yves Rocher has become a small part of that travel ritual — something familiar that allows me to maintain a little bit of my usual routine even when I’m in a completely new place. The next time I travel from Hong Kong, I think I’ll still make a little room for Yves Rocher in my suitcase.
